JACOB KINSEL CONNER, JR., age 83 of Manassas died Wednesday, June 11, 2003 at Prince William Hospital, Manassas. He was born to the late Jacob K. Conner and Virginia Hockman Conner on Bloom Hill Farm on Lucasville Road and attended local schools. His wife of 25 years, Cecelia Kinkus, died in 1984. Jake is survived by Dr. Alvin E. Conner, Carroll E. Conner and wife, Geraldine; sister, Gladys E. Read and numerous nieces and nephews. He worked as an auto mechanic and took pride in that he never had to ask for a job; employers came to him. In addition he taught auto mechanics at Osbourn High School for a time.
