Jackie Ray Law, 81, Anderson, passed away March 27, 2012 at St. Vincent Heart Hospital-Indianapolis after an extended illness. He was born February 1, 1931 in Virginia, and resided in Anderson since 1955.

Jackie served his country as a Sergeant in the US Army during the Korean Conflict receiving the Purple Heart. He retired from Container Corporation after 31 years of service. He was a member of Valley Grove Free Will Baptist Church.

Jackie enjoyed wood working, gardening and going to Strawtown.

He is survived by his wife whom he married November 12, 1955, Esther B. Greene Law; children, Tracy Jones Monty of Anderson and Cathy Spear of Gold Canyon, Arizona; three brothers; five sisters; grandchildren, Jaime, Elliot, Shelby, Chase, and Jessica; great grandchildren, Cameron, Bracken, Madyson and Landon; special thanks to Pastor Joe Roysden, Karl & Tina Moore, Rod Bortel, Valley Grove Free Will Baptist Church and son-in-law, Monty. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Virgie Beverly Law; three brothers; and one sister.
