Jackie Ray Cooper, Age 79 of 155 Clarksburg Rd. Passed away Friday at the SOMC Hospice Center in Portsmouth Ohio after a short illness.
Born May 9, 1934 in Thor Ky he was the son of Ray E. Cooper and Margaret Stafford Cooper.
Mr. Cooper was a retired member of local 18 Operating Engineers a former member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, serving from 1976-78 and was elected County Judge Executive of Lewis County in 1978 serving 4 terms 1978-1994.
