Jackie Lee Miller, 83, of Clovis, NM, passed away at his home, on Wednesday, November 26, 2014. He was born May 21, 1931 to Imel Kenton Miller and Anna Mae Miller in Elwood, Indiana. Jackie married Jeannine Rode on June 10, 1951 at East Union Christian Church in Atlanta, Indiana. They were married for 63 years.

Jackie earned his college degree and enlisted in the Army. He worked as a farmer, businessman, and policeman. For six years he was an assistant manager for Cargill in Hooker, OK. Jackie was immersed into Christ at the age of 7 and was active in the Christian Churches throughout his life as an Elder of Christian Churches, Youth Director of Church, and a Sunday School Teacher. He was a part of the Windfall, Tipton, Liberal, Lions Club, Sigma Chi Chi, American Criminal Justice Association, and Police Order organizations. Jackie served his IHSAA community as a 4H leader, cub and boy scout leader, basketball and football official for 25 yrs, from 19541962 he served with Jord. Security Corp as 1st Sgt, F.F.A for 4 yrs, and was part of the crops judging team for 41 yrs.

He is survived by his wife, Jeannine Miller of Clovis, NM, 3 sons David Karen Miller of Jacksonville, NC, Kurt Dalita Miller of Windfall, IN, Dwain Sharetta Miller of Hooker, OK, 1 daughter Teresa Miller of Hooker, OK, 1 half brothers Eric Miller, 1 half sister Rita Simmons, 2 close friends Keiko Gugle, Debra Schorzman, 5 grandchildren, 3 stepgrandchildren, 6 stepgreat grandchildren, and 1 great grandson.

Jackie is preceded in death by his son Clinton James Miller and half brother Kent Miller.
