Jackie Lee Cole, 84, of Anderson, passed away on May 9, 2013 at St Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. He was born on July 12, 1928 in Elwood, Indiana and resided most of his life in Anderson. Jackie graduated from Elwood High School. He worked in Production at Delco Remy for 30 years retiring in 1976.
Jackie attended the First Church of the Nazerene. He enjoyed sports, especially playing golf, and gardening. The family would like to thank the 4th floor nursing staff, Dr. Green, and the other physicians at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital for all their wonderful care during his illness.
Jackie is survived by his loving spouse whom he married August 13, 1950, Jean Wells Cole, children, Richard Cathy Cole of Anderson, Debra D. Lloyd of Anderson, and Gary Carolyn Cole of Greenfield; six grandchildren, Brandi and Casey Cole, Jeremy Marlo Lloyd, Jamie Aaron Filbrun, Kelly Evertt Ailes, and Katelyn Cole; Great-Grandchildren, Austin and Haley Filbrun, and Tori and Emersynn Ailes.
