A good and loving man has earned his highest reward. Jackie L. Farmer, age 74, of Green Forest, AR passed away October 24, 2010 at St Johns Hospital in Berryville. He was born July 9, 1936 in Carroll County to the late Alpha Jack Farmer and Helen (Dotson) Farmer. He was united in marriage to Connie Marie Hargis who preceded him in death on August 3, 1986. Before his retirement Jackie was employed as a vendor for the state of Arkansas (sponsored by the Lions Club). He enjoyed raising cattle and working on his farm at Oak Grove. He was a member of The Church Of God International in Fayetteville. Jackie is survived by his 2 sons; Johnny Lee Farmer and wife Betty of Washburn Missouri, Douglas Wayne Farmer and wife Laura of Green Forest, grandchildren; Jarrett Farmer, Chrystal Farmer and Justin Farmer, sisters, Virginia Pritchett and Shirley Hudson, brothers, L.J. Farmer and Steve Farmer.
