Jackie “Jack” “Tiny” Claybourn, 65 of Odin, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Mr. Claybourn was born December 21, 1946 in Mt. Vernon, son of Charles Claybourn and Dorothy (March) Claybourn. He married Debbie (Leisure) Claybourn on April 11, in and she survives in Corpus Christi, Texas. In addition to his wife, Mr. Claybourn is survived by five sons: Michael Hanshew of Carterville, Brandon Hanshew of Odin, Brian Gilbert and wife Karen of Maryland, Russell Gilbert of and Jerry Gilbert; one daughter Kathy Gilbert of Kankakee; one brother Ed Claybourn and wife Martha of Washington; two sisters Aletha Claybourn of Centralia, and Anna Bremer and husband Brian of Metropolis; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and an infant sister. Mr. Claybourn worked for General Motors. He enjoyed hunting and riding his Harley. Most of all he loved being with his family and friends.
