Jack Richard May, 85, passed away peacefully March 28, 2016, at his home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, after a year-long struggle with kidney cancer.
Jack was born January 4, 1931, in a home at Jackson, Wyoming, the fourth of nine children to be born to Clifton Henrie and Fay Tempest May. Jack grew up on Mormon Row (then known as Gros Ventre, Wyoming), attending the one-room grade school at Gros Ventre and then Jackson-Wilson High School in Jackson. He attended Ricks College for a short time.
He married Geraldine Hess on November 27, 1949, in Jackson, Wyoming. Four children were born to this union. They later divorced.
