Salem Jack Lee Roach, 80, of Big Isaac Community went to be with his Lord and received his ultimate healing on March 12, 2011, after an extended illness. He was born February 28, 1931 in Oakdale, PA, the son of the late Richard Allen Roach and Chloe Mowrey Roach Andy. Surviving is his wife Mary Anne Keslosky Roach at Big Isaac, ‘Also surviving are two brothers, Warner “Eugene” Roach and wife Sandra of Florida,and Richard (Richie) Mowrey Roach and wife Vanessa of Gassaway, WV., a half-brother, Patrick Roach, his children, Jocelyn and Erin Roach and their mother, Kathy, of White Oak, PA. and a half-sister, Susan Allen Roach.of PA He was formerly married to Roberta “Bobbie” McMillan Roach of Frederick, MD and is survived by their children, Jack McMillan Roach of Franklin, WV and Jacque Ellen Roach of Frederick, MD. Preceding him in death was a daughter Corma Ilela Roach Klipp Johnson on October 30, 1995 and a grandson Brian White Klipp. He graduated from Doddridge County High School in 1948 and went on to receive his BA from West Virginia Wesleyan College and masters from WVU.with degrees in Administration, Psychology, and Physical Education. He began his teaching career at Jarvisville in 1952 and served as Principal there as well as of Wilsonburg Grade and Junior High and Broadway Junior High before moving to Frederick County, MD in 1959. He started his doctoral degree at West Virginia University Mr. Roach opened a new school in Urbana which was the first intregated school in Frederick County.
