Obituary of Jack Hudson Becker
BECKER, Jack Hudson went to his heavenly home, June 3, 2013. Born March 29, 1924, son of the late Hiram and Agnes Becker, married Gloria Garchow on May 6, 1945.
Jack was president of LCFS by Michigan, he served on the National Ski Patrol, was president of the Bridgeport PTA, Peace PTL as well as serving as an usher and elder. Jack and Gloria enjoyed 47 years at Higgins Lake. He was a master carver. Jack worked at Baker Perkins for 35 years as a Design Engineer. He faithfully served as charter member of Faith Lutheran in Bridgeport and a member of Peace Lutheran of Saginaw. Jack was active in school and community service.
He leaves his wife Gloria, three children: Gloria (Bruce) Rueber, David (Mary) Becker, Cynthia (Scott Lutz, Fiancé) VanZandt; sister, Jane (Harold) Wilber and sister-in-law, Beth Becker. Also 4 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
