Jack Frank Rinehart, 83,  passed away peacefully at his home in Whiteland surrounded by his family on Wednesday Sept. 16, 2015. He was born on Dec. 7, 1931 in Kansas City, Kansas to the late Frank and Winifred Rinehart.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Jack was a member of the Honey Creek Methodist Church in Greenwood and a proud member of the Teamsters Union since 1952. He was employed with Daum Trucking Company for 45 years, from 1949 until he retired in 1994. Jack loved being in his garage or working in the yard. He was always helping friends and neighbors but especially his grandchildren. He was a constant rescuer of others and never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed by all whose life he touched.

Jack, to those who knew him, was a wonderful friend, father, and grandfather. He married is wife of 62 years, the late Phyllis Cunningham Rinehart on Jan 3, 1950.They had two children, a daughter, Pamela (Larry) Mann, who survives and a son, Sean Rinehart, who preceded him in death in 1992.

He is also survived by a sister, Wanda Foy of Kansas, seven grandchildren, Daniel Boswell, Jason (Laura) Cunningham, Andrea, Justin and Sara Fergason, Rusty and Heather Mann, fourteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Rinehart and Donnie Rinehart and a sister, Mary Torrence.

The family would like to thank Lonzo Rogers and Shelby Fisher, lifelong friends, for their wonderful support to Jack and his family. We love you Jack (Grandpa), life will never be the same.
