Jack E. Neal, 68, went to meet the Lord Thursday December 30, 2010 surrounded by his loving friends and family at home.
Jack was born July 5, 1942 in New Castle, the first child to John L. Sr. and Emily Neal. He graduated from Yorktown High School 1960 and lived in the Muncie area his whole life. Jack loved hunting, fishing, all outdoor activities and his family.
He was a proud member of Plumbers & Steamfitters Local 661 for 47 years and retired in July of 2002.
Jack will be sadly missed by his wife Carolyn; four sons: Jack Jr.(wife, Tammy), John, Jay (wife, Freda), Jess (wife, Shawn), two daughters: Trula Medler (husband, Jack) and Beverly (The Brat) Pierce; twelve grandchildren: Brooke and Remington Neal of Gaston, Heston and Chelsea Neal of Indianapolis, Jay and Austin Neal of Yorktown, Riley, Rhyen and Reid Neal of Yorktown, Jess Neal and Madison Medler of Yorktown, Liam Pierce of Muncie. His memory is also cherished by his siblings: Diana DuLaney (husband, Don), John L. Neal III (wife, Sarah), Keith Mansfield (wife, Paula), Julie Miller (husband, Denny), Trish Mcgaha (husband, Dan), Randy Mansfield (wife, Linda), Lisa Neff (husband, Eric), Ruth Ann Neal, several nieces, nephews, aunts, his uncle Sherman Neal (wife, Ellie) and his ex-wife and friend Gay Neal.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Leah Neal, brothers, Eugene and Brad Neal, granddaughter, Olivia Neal.
