Jack E. Myers, 86 of Centralia, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018, at Nature Trails Nursing Home in Mt. Vernon surrounded by his children. Mr. Myers was born October 20, 1931, in Centralia, the son of George F. Myers and Ida Mary Louise (Drenckpohl) Myers.
He married Emma Raines on January 15, 1955, in Sandoval and she preceded him in death on April 6, 2012. He is survived by four sons: Steven Myers and wife Debbie of Centralia, Robert Myers and wife Barb of Ashley, William Myers of Centralia, and James Myers and wife Jennie of Garnett, Kansas; a daughter, Donna Rink of Centralia; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law: Bertha Myers of Centralia; a sister, Maxine Ward of Centralia; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a son: David Myers, a son-in-law, Frank Rink. Jack served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a Printer and Machine Adjuster for 28 years. He enjoyed Old Cars, his Chihuahua, and fishing. Jack loved spending time with his family and friends.
