Jack Buschbom of Green Forest, AR was born on October 6, 1927 to Wilbur Bill and Keitha (Brue) Buschbom, in Jefferson Township, Marshall County, IA. He died July 15, 2011 in South Dakota. He grew up in the Topeka/Wichita Kansas area. In Atlanta, GA, he married Marena Wiest, to this union, three daughters were born: Melissa, Jaci and Dawn. In 1968, he married Lorraine Fromson, they had a son, Jeffrey. In 1986, he married Juliet Pepito in the Philippines. Jack lived in other cities such as Centerville, IA and Cassville and Prairie du Chien, WI. In 1961, he built the Wrangler Motel in Mobridge, SD. In Green Forest, AR, he owned and operated the North Arkansas Livestock Auction. He was a member of Green Forest United Methodist Church. Jack was a professional cowboy and a member of the Cowboy Turtle Association and the Rodeo Cowboy Association (RCA). He was a world champion bareback bronc rider in 1949, 1959 and 1960. He also worked on various Thoroughbred race tracks. When Jack retired, he enjoyed fishing, playing BINGO and especially spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in Arkansas, South Dakota and Nevada. He is survived by his wife, Juliet; daughters: Melissa Buschbom, Jaci (Fran) Keller and Dawn (Jimmy) Bishop; son, Jeffrey; grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Troy (Lena) Buschbom and their daughter Marena of Pierre, Mandy (Cory) VanEngen and their children: Carter, Malory and Melanie of Rogers, MN, Chris Lenahan of Portland, OR, Craig Lenahan and children: Danny, Brooke and Alex of Las Vegas, NV, Travis (Keri) Bishop and their children: Kaitlyn and Trenton, and Weston (Casie) Bishop and their children: Bristol and Brinley. He is also survived by his special cowboy buddies and associates. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Keitha; brother, Billy; and sister, Beverly Hurleman.
