Devoted father of Pam Wilson, Jeff Stern, Lori Stump and Lisa DeLauder; loving brother of Rose Miller, Frank Stern, William Stern, Herbert Stern, Ernest Stern and Marlin Stern; loving grandfather of 5 and great-grandfather of 8. Jack was born in Somerset County, Pennsylvania in 1924. He was a member of the United States Marine Corps from 1943 to 1945 as a Corporal. He was stationed in South Pacific Theater-Iwo Jima. When he returned home, he then worked as a Mason for 40 years. Jack was a member of the American Legion, Post 297. He enjoyed many hobbies including woodworking, landscaping and brick laying.
