Marguerite Welsh (nee Connaghan), formerly of Willingboro, NJ., died Sunday, October 12th at The Clare Estate in Bordentown at the age of 76. Born on April 28, 1932 in Beaver Island, Michigan, she had been a Willingboro resident for 45 years before moving to Bordentown a little over a year ago. Marguerite had been employed as licensed practical nurse with memorial Hospital of Burlington County (now Virtua Hospital), in Mt. Holly for 16 years before retiring in 1990. A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, she enjoyed gardening in her spare time.
One of 14 children, Marguerite is survived by two sisters: Anna Mae Maxwell of Wheaton, IL., and Catherine Gatliff of Detroit, Mich. Wife of the late Royce Welsh, who died in 1992, she is also survived by her seven children and their spouses: Bruce (Marlou) Welsh of Galloway, NJ., Darlene (John) Satkewich of Hull, Mass., Keith Welsh of Willingboro, NJ., Terry (Joann) Welsh of Westminster, MD., Royce (Amy) Welsh of Northfield, NJ., Lynn (Ed) Canivan of Burlington, NJ., and Darren (Sasheen) Welsh of Westampton, NJ. as well as 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to join with Marguerite’s family in celebration of her life Saturday, October 25th, at 2:00 p.m. at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union Street, Burlington.
