J. Lee Hartsell, age 87, of Midland, N.C., died Monday, July 20, 2009, at Presbyterian Hospital-Matthews in Matthews, N.C. He was born February 8, 1922 in Union County, NC. Mr. Hartsell was employed by General Time, Inc. as a supervisor and retired in 1984. He was a member of Mill Grove United Methodist Church where he was a Sunday School teacher for 25 years. He served in the US Army.
