J. Barry O’Brien, 48, of Middletown, died peacefully at his home on Friday, October 2, 2009. Born on March 3, 1961 in Middletown, he was the son of James and Judith (Young) O’Brien of Middletown. Barry had a heart of gold and enjoyed being with family. Barry will be missed greatly by his family and friends. Besides his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Beth Boothroyd and her husband, Gary, of Albany, NH and Laurie Bouchard and her husband, Richard, of Cobalt, four nephews, several aunts, uncles and cousins, and a very special friend, Kim.
