Mr. Bilbrey had attended Clarksville, Tennessee city schools and later graduated from Muncie Central High School. J.B. had married the love of his life Mary (Cooper) Bilbrey in 1964 and she preceded him in death in 2000. He became a tool and die maker for Brodericks for over 30 years prior to their closing and later a machinist for Chevrolet prior to his retirement. Mr.
He is survived by three sons, Richard Bilbrey (wife-Angela), Yorktown, Larry Bilbrey Phoenix, Arizona and J.B. Bilbrey II (wife-Sheri), New Castle; one daughter, Teresa Colyer (companion-Adam Bilbrey), Muncie; two brothers, Rev. Everett Bilbrey (wife-Connie), Eaton and Larry Bilbrey (wife-Beverly), Muncie; two sisters, Dorothy Vance (husband-Chuck), Eaton and Patsy Todd (husband-Joe), Muncie; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Besides his wife of 36 years, Mary, he is preceded in death by one daughter, Amy Smith in 2002 and his parents; several siblings.
