BRIGHAM CITY – Ivolene Hunsaker Allen, 82 passed away on Monday, January 13, 2014 at Country Lane Assisted Living.
Ivolene was born on November 12, 1931 in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho a daughter of Ella Potter and Abraham Hunsaker, IV.
She married Robert Eugene Gibson. Then Ivolene married Jack Pickford Allen.
She was an active member of the LDS Church and had served as a Relief Society Teacher, and Young Women’s Stake Sports director. Ivolene volunteered at the voting booths, was a member of DUP and served at the Genealogy Library every Wednesday.
She had worked at IRS as a computer operator.
Surviving are her children: Shari Carlee Goodrich, Salt Lake City; John Robert (Peggy Sue) Gibson, Brigham City; Robin David (Bernadette) Allen, Brigham City; and; seven grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. Also sisters: Janice Ayala, Brigham City and Margene Blanch, West Weber.
Preceded in death by her parents and husband, Jack, and grandson Robert Cole Goodroe.
