Mr. Lawson farmed for thirty-five years in Perry and Center Townships, worked at Indiana Steel and Wire, and was a real estate broker prior to his retirement.
Surviving are his wife of seventy-one years, Ella MaeWilliams Lawson, whom he married October 4, 1939; his daughter, Carolyn Rodeffer, (husband, Donald), Selma; his son, Philip Lawson, (wife, Kathy), Selma; six grandchildren, Pamela Rodeffer, Kenny Rodeffer, (wife, Michelle), Brad Rodeffer, (wife, Mendy), Tony Lawson, (wife, Jennifer), Tim Lawson, (wife, Stacy), and Julie Lawson-Eiser; six great-grandchildren, Hunter Rodeffer, Ashlee Eiser, Kelsey Lawson, Bret Lawson, Olivia Lawson and Anthony Franklin; several nieces; and a special family friend, Gina Edgehill.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Edna Sewell and Virginia Batscholette; his brother, Harold Lawson; and his niece, Gloria Stinger.
