Issa Grace O’Brien, 9 months old, of South Bend, IN, passed away in the loving arms of her family, on Monday, March 24, 2014, after living for nine months with Trisomy 18.
She was born on June 7, 2013 to Sean and Felicia (Johnson) O’Brien in South Bend, IN.
Issa is survived by her parents, Sean and Felicia O’Brien of South Bend, IN; maternal grandparents, Perry and Helen Johnson of Bernardsville, NJ; paternal grandparents, John and Karen O’Brien of Arlington Heights, IL; her two sisters, Sophia Rose and Lucia Maeve O’Brien, both at home; one brother, Seamus Fitzgerald O’Brien at home; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Issa guided and taught her family all the way through her final breaths. She died as she lived, full of grace. Her family is grateful beyond words to Issa and to all who accompanied them in their journey of love.
