Israel Gonzalez, 61, of Allentown, died Sunday, Oct.20, 2013, in his home. Born in NYC, he was the son of the late Inocencio and Lydia Gonzalez. Israel honorably served his county in the U.S. Marines, during the Vietnam War. He worked for the railroad and Conrail. Survivors: daughter Ghovanna Gonzalez; companion Alice, both of Allentown; sister Lydia Gonzalez of PR; brother Luis Gonzalez and wife Nydia of NYC; 2 grandchildren; nieces and nephew.
