Isabel (Matthews) Sersen, 93, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 3, 2018 while in the care of Country Meadows, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Jack Petro and Anthony Sersen. Born in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Marie (McLaughlin). Isabel was a graduate of Easton High School, class of 1942 and Moravian College, class of 1958. She worked as a French and English teacher at Easton High school for 24 years. Isabel was a former member of St Joseph Catholic Church, Bethlehem, and a current member of St Anne’s Catholic Church, Bethlehem.
Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her son Roy Petro of Bethlehem and many nieces, nephews and friends. Isabel was preceded in death by her siblings Richard and Grace.
