Isabell Marie Schult, 97, of Freeport, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at Stephenson Nursing Center.
Born March 16, 1915 in Ogle County she was the daughter of Thomas and Neleta (Hitchcock) Richolson. She married William J. Schult February 24, 1937 and he preceded her in death. She worked at Burgess Battery, Woodward Governor, and also worked in the cafeteria at Immanuel Lutheran School and Micro Switch. Isabell’s memberships included Immanuel Lutheran Church, Stephenson County Home Extension and RSVP, 4-H Mothers, Girl Scout Volunteers, and VFW Auxiliary.
Surviving is her daughter, Patricia (Curt) Hollister of Freeport; brother-in-law, Russell Juhl of Carrolton; 6 grandchildren, Naleta (Greg) Bilgri of Orangeville, Melissa (Allen) Hayunga and Bill (Melissa) Hollister both of Freeport, Tom (Kirsten) Hollister of Shannon, Dan (Sarah) Hollister of Freeport, and Amanda (Steve) Collier of Bremerton, Washington; 8 great grandchildren, Alyson and Ethan Bilgri, Megan and Sydney Hayunga, Evan Hollister, Abby Hollister, Scott and Isabell Collier.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 2 brothers; 1 sister; and 2 sisters-in-laws.
