Irvin Byington
Irvin Heber Byington passed away on September 03, 2016 at the age of 98. He was born on April 8, 1918 in Hooper, Ut to John Byington and Charlotte Saunders the sixth of 10 children. He attended Hooper Elementary and Weber High School.
He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1945. He worked at Hill Air Force Base retiring in December 1974. He married June Moline on April 10, 1940 and had a daughter Karen. June and Irvin were later divorced. He then married LaVern Daniels in December 1951.
He enjoyed traveling; camping; fishing; going to the senior center; playing his harmonica and spending time with his family.
He is survived by daughter Karen Strickland; grandchildren Bill Strickland, Charlie Strickland, and Karen Cole; 11 great grandchildren; 20 great great children; 1 brother, Lawrence Byington; 2 sisters, Annie Robinson and Nelda Shepherd. He was proceeded in death by his wife LaVern; son-in law Lee Strickland; great great granddaughter Michele Kaylee McNicol; 1 sister; 5 brothers.
