He was born on April 18, 1935, in Hagerstown, MD to the late John and Delila (Hammond) Starliper.
He was a 1953 graduate of Hagerstown High School.
Irvin was a Warehouse Supervisor with Coca-Cola in Hagerstown, MD for 41 years until his retirement. He worked for Four States Livestock for many years after his retirement.
He was a member of St. James Brethren Church.
Irvin played Baseball and Softball around the County in his younger years.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Mary Starliper whom he married on April 13, 1957; son Jay Starliper (Donna); daughter Kimbra Buhrman (Roger); grandchildren Travis Starliper (Megan), Jaimee Schrimsher (Josh), Bethany Starliper, Brandon Starliper, and Randy Buhrman, Sr.; great grandchildren Rory, Stella, Ian, Randy, Jr.; great granddaughter to be Eliza; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister Lola McCubbin and brothers Lester, Jack, and Dave Starliper; nephews Edward and Gary McCubbin; granddaughter Kristy Buhrman.
