Irma “Ma-Ma” Agnes Adkins Clark, 91, of 1037 Harris St. Eden N.C. died Friday July 16, 2010 at Brian Center, Eden N.C. Mrs. Clark was born September 2, 1918 in Penhook, Va. to the late Samuel Z. Adkins and the late Dolly Pearl Young Adkins. Irma was married to the late Aubrey A. Clark. Mrs. Clark was a member of the Christian Tabernacle, Callands, Va. Irma retired from Health Tex after 25 years of service as a Cutter/Inspector. In addition to her parents and husband Mrs. Clark was predeceased by one brother Frederick Adkins, one daughter Glenda Jo Clark, and one son Charles (Fred) Clark. Left to cherish her memory are daughter-in-law Ann Clarke and husband Fred of Danville, Va., two sons Samuel “Billy” Clark and wife Joyce of Eden N.C. and Bobby Clark and wife Margaret of Axton, Va., ten grandchildren Tammy Moser and husband Dwayne and Charles Sanford Clarke and wife Melissa all of Danville, Va.; Wanda Phillips and husband Kevin of Yorktown Va.; Renee Clark-Haag and husband Paul of Winston Salem, N.C.; Keith Clark and wife Brisa of Greensboro, N.C.; Brian Clark and wife Katie of Eden, N.C.; Joshua Hudson and Angus Wilson of Axton, Va.;Deannea Clark and Christie Clark of Danville, Va.; twelve great-grandchildren, Jared Moser and wife Sarah; Ashley Lumpkins and husband Petey; Brandi Weaver and husband Brandon; Raegan Clarke; K.J. Clark; Patrick and Jessica Phillips; Elliot Haag; Sam and Abby Clark; Sabrina Hodnett; and A.J. Knick., numerous nieces and nephews. Irma is also survived by her beloved dog Suzie. Irma “Ma-Ma; Shorty” was the glue that held her large family together. Her Lord and her family were the most important things to her. If you loved someone in her family, then she loved you.
