Mrs. Roth passed away early Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Toni & Trish House in Auburn, MI with her family by her side. Age 85 years. The daughter of the late John and Mary (Matten) Herman was born March 16, 1931 in Flint, MI. She was a member of Corpus Christi Parish-Holy Trinity Church and its altar society, she was the past president of the American Legion Post #18 Women’s Auxiliary and served six years on the Northwest Citizens Council. Irene retired from Dow Corning as an executive secretary after many years of service.
Left to cherish her memories are one son and daughter-in-law; Thomas N. and Lori Roth, one daughter and son-in-law; Kathleen M. and Andrew Kennell, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one sister and brother-in-law: Maryann and Thomas Borkowski Sr., many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard A. Roth in 1996, two sons; James R. Roth and William R. Roth.
