Irene Katherine CantuAge 57 of Kentucky, formerly of Owosso passed away Monday, July 5, 2021. Funeral Services will be held 1pm, Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Nelson-House Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11am until the time of service.Irene was born January 8, 1964 in Owosso, the daughter of Thomas and Patricia (Hoose) Hall.She went to Owosso Schools and went back to school as an Adult to Corunna Adult Education where she received her High School Diploma.Irene loved bowling and was on many bowling leagues and worked many bowling tournaments. She enjoyed going to bingo nights and making annual trips to the casino. Most of all she loved doing anything that involved family and friends especially her grandchildren.Irene worked as a Home Health Care Worker for many years.Irene is survived by her Daughters, Trisha (Robert) Guise Jennifer (Michael) Clarke; Son Nazario (Lisa) Cantu; Granddaughters, Heather Lynn, Katie Carmody, Shiann Cantu and Shanel Cantu; Grandsons, Braidan Guise, Derek Cantu and Kyle Cantu; Great-Grandsons, Michael and Mayson, Father, Thomas (Judy) Hall; Brothers, Lester Hall ( Shelly Root), Robert Hall and David Miller Jr, Several Nieces and Nephews; Special Niece Tina Cantu; Other children and grandchildren that she took on over her lifetime and Best Friend Teresa Cummings. She was predeceased by her Mother, Patricia Newman, Sister, Lisa Nichols, Brother, Thomas ( Huntz) Hall, Grandmother, Dorothy Conrad, Special Aunt, Margarette Aymor, and grandson PFC Shane Cantu.Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
