MAY’S LICK Irene French, 87, of Maysville passed away Friday, Jan. 4, 2013 at Maysville Nursing & Rehab Facility. She was the widow of Clarence French, Jr. and a retired cook at Browns Restaurant.
Mrs. French was born in Portsmouth, OH on May 23, 1925 daughter of the late Ira & Mary Lula Tucker Wilson.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Judith Tucker of Maysville, Mary Applegate of Mt. Orab, OH, Gloria Tomlin of Falmouth and a son Kenneth French of Dover. 14 grandchildren and several great grand & great- great grandchildren also survive and 3 sisters, Doris Kendall of Maysville, Louise Ritchie of North Carolina and Carolyn Campbell of South Bend, IN; 1 brother, Howard French of Clarksville, TN.
