During World War II she was employed by US Rubber in Passiac while her husband Joseph Tucci was oversees in Germany fighting with the United States Army. Irene was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved to play bingo and bowling.
She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Tucci (2005), the loving mother of Joseph E. Tucci and his wife Jeanette, Irene was predeceased by her late daughter Pamela Tucci (1993). She was the cherished grandmotherof Ginamarie Tucci and her partner Bren Anema, Joseph Tucci and his girlfriend Lisa Brennan, Douglas Tucci and his wife Deb, and Timothy Tucci and his wife Mary. Irene was the great grandmother of Chad Tucci.
