Irene Moore, age 84, passed away peacefully in Chandler Arizona on March 3, 2015. She was the first of five children born to Angeline and Edward Wojciechowski in Detroit Michigan on July 26, 1930. Irene married her lifelong partner, Pete J. Moore, on January 15, 1955. The couple was together nearly 60 years. For most of their married life, they were residents of Monroe Michigan. She resided with her daughter Deborah (Martin) Darcy following Pete’s passing in March of 2014. In addition to her daughter and son-in-law, she is survived by her beloved granddaughter, Sarah E. Sottile and great granddaughter, Livia Venier, also of Chandler Arizona. Irene was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed being a home maker. Pete and Irene were active members of Christ Lutheran Church in Monroe and had many friends there. She dearly missed her church family after relocating to Arizona. In addition to being a home maker, Irene obtained her Real Estate license and worked as a realtor for Don Thompson Real Estate in Monroe. In addition to her family in Arizona, Irene is survived by her sisters; Geraldine (Thomas) Schultz, Gloria Wolff; nieces and nephews; step-daughter Mary Ann (Kenneth) Molsbee from Eldorado Arkansas; Grandchildren Kimberly (Todd) Klippert, Kenneth Molsbee, Pete J. (Kimberly) Moore IV, Tamra (Aaron) Phillips and nine great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She also enjoyed a special friendship with the Modica neighbors that were always considered to be part of the family. In addition to her parents, Irene was preceded in death by her dear husband Pete, and brothers Edward and Donald Wojciechowski.
