Iona Eleanor Stiffler went to be with the Lord July 16th, 2011 in Mesa. She was born in Homeworth, Ohio February 28, 1929. Iona is survived by her loving husband Vern after 62 years of marriage. Vern and Iona have 2 daughters Diana and Joan, son-in-law Ben, four grandsons; Ben, Scot, Travis and Dylan and six great grand children. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Jesse.
Iona and Vern moved to Phoenix in 1957 where they enjoyed traveling, camping, local politics and spent 30 years in Payson before moving back to the Phoenix area in 2000.
Iona loved music and taught many children how to play the piano.
