Ingrid R. Bloxson, 72, of Clyde, died at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky on Friday, October 31, 2014.
Mrs. Bloxson was born in Simbach/a Inn, West Germany, just across the Austria border, on July 20, 1943 to Heinz and Marie Leck. She moved to the United States in 1966, then to Clyde in the mid 1980s.
She had retired in 2003 from The Whirlpool Corp after 45 years of service.
She had worked at the Von Trapp Resort in her early years.
Survivors include her son, Chris (Julie) Leck and daughter, Danielle (Jeff) Stanley, all of Clyde. Two grandchildren, SPF Dustin Leck, US Army; and Anna Leck of Clyde. Her brother, Werner Leck survives in Germany.
Ingrid was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Heinz Leck.
