Ina Blanche Sledge, age 76, of Shalimar, Florida, entered into Heaven July, 11, 2009 at her home after an extended illness. Blanche was born November 7, 1932, in Whitesburg, Georgia.
Blanche was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, retired MSgt, USAF, Bobby P. Sledge, parents Mr. and Mrs. David Buford Duncan of Carrollton, GA, and sisters Frances Walls and Patricia Walls of Carroll County, GA.
Mrs. Sledge is survived by her daughter Cathy Turner and husband David and her son David Sledge, four gransdons; Michael Turner and wife Leslie, Jason Turner, Daniel and Austin Sledge, one granddaughter; Aubriann Howell and husband Matt, and one great grandson Dylan Turner.
She is also survived by sisters; Dana Nalley, Babs Turner and husband Rick, Billy Duncan and wife Janice and Kenneth Duncan and wife Sue.
Blanche was a loving mother and grandmother that will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
