Imogene Henry, 83, Greensburg, Indiana, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2016, at the St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born April 16, 1933, in Decatur County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Melvin and Lucinda (Couch) Cox. She graduated from Clarksburg High School. She had worked in nursing as a caregiver. She was a member of the Greensburg Wesleyan Church. She was married to William J. “Jay” Henry on August 8, 1989, and he survives.
She is also survived by three sons, Steven D. (Michelle) Holcomb, Lafayette, Charles R. “Chuck” (Donna) Thomerson, Talladega, Al., Gregory B. (Margie) Thomerson, Lexington, KY; one stepson, Douglas G. (Kelly) Henry, Columbia, SC; two daughters, Cynthia (Dan) Charles, Greensburg, Jennifer Holcomb, Greensburg; 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. \
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband, Harold Holcomb, 2nd husband, C. Raymond Thomerson; stepson, Dennis C. Henry; stepdaughter, Marie Gosnell; four brothers, Willard (Mildred) Cox, Hubert (Carmen) Cox, Harold (Allie) Cox, Melvin (Marge) Cox, Jr.; three sisters, Nettie (Joe) Grote, Jannivee (Clarence) Musser, Marylou (Harold) Woodard.
