Newark formerly of Clifton Springs, Ilva Frethey Boeckmann, 92 died Thursday, August 1, 2002 at the DeMay Living Center.

Mrs. Boeckmann was born the daughter of William and Flora Davis Frethey on February 23, 1910 in Clifton Springs, New York. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Newark since 1939. She had worked as a receptionist for VanBussum,Guidarelli,Maressa,Harris doctors office.
Mrs. Boeckmann is survived by her son John F (Dawn) Boeckmann of Newark; daughters Florene (Chester) Sanford of Newark, Carol (John) Snyder of Maryland and Joan (Frank) Parlato of Webster; niece Barbara Williams of Newark; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Boeckmann was predeceased by her husband John A. Boeckmann on April 4, 1992.
