Ida Oven Pugh, “Miss Ida” age 91 , formerly of Shalimar, FL passed away on Friday, Oct 16, 2015 after a brief illness.  She was born on October 3, 1924, in Tallahassee, FL to William J. and Bershe Meginnis Oven.  She was Episcopalian by faith.  Her faith was a very important part of her life.  She was active in the Altar Guild and had been an active retired Volunteer for the Fort Walton Beach Medical Center Auxiliary.  She had been a resident of the local area for over 30 years.  She enjoyed traveling, playing golf, and loved being a huge Florida State fan , where she attended.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Brig. Gen. James R. Pugh, and all of her Tallahassee siblings. Survivors include her children, Bershe Lee (David) Cormack, Susan Pugh (Randy) Leidecker, and James R. (Kathy) Pugh III, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and  numerous nieces and nephews .

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
