She married Richard L. Waggoner on December 6, 1952 in Markle, IN. Mr. Waggoner preceded her in death on May 18, 2001. Mrs. Waggoner worked as a Cafeteria Server for Huntington County School Corp. She was a member of Church of Christ.
Survivors include: Two sons; Russell L. Waggoner and his wife, Dr. Kimberly Stein, Boca Raton, FL. Roger D. Waggoner, Huntington, IN; Two grandchildren: Brian Waggoner and Whitney Waggoner. Three sisters: Floy Conatser, Waldport, OR; Mrs. Allen (Bonnie) Slagel, Huntington, IN, Joyce (Doyle) Horn, New Hope, AR. Four Brothers: J. B. (Erma) Thornton, Lafontaine, IN, Woodrow (Ruth) Thornton, Cove, AR, Ray (Donna) Thornton Athens, AR. and Boyd Thornton, Glenwood, AR.
Preceded in death by two sisters: Bobbie Smallwood and Lorene Thornton.
