Ida Louise Lennens, 90, formerly of Fairmount, Indiana died Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Colonial Oaks Health Care. Louise was born in Gas City, Indiana on May 2 1926, daughter of the late Frank McManisand the late Mildred (McHenry)McManis. She graduated from Fairmount High School in 1944.
Louise married Russell E.Lennenson January26, 1950. He preceded her in death on May 23, 1985.
Louise was employed by Madison-Grant Community Schools where she worked as a cook in the Cafeteria at Park Elementary School. She also cleaned Dr. Yales office.
Louise was a member of Fairmount Baptist Church where she sang in the choir for 40 years and was a Sunday school teacher for 30 years. She was also a member of the Fairmount Bonnet Club and enjoyed reading, word books and traveling. Son, Robert E. (Carol)Lennens, Fairmount, IN, Daughter, Rita E. (Ron) Forsythe, Marion, IN, Sister, Mabel McManis, Kokomo, IN. 2 grandsons; Bobbie Lennens, Fairmount, IN and David Lennens,Reynold sburg, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brother Richard McManisand sister Elsie Elliott.
