Mrs. Ida L. Lerch age 81 of the Lovedale Community, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2008 following an extended illness. She was born in Reading, PA in 1927 to the late Harvey Hollenbach and Amanda Bechtel. Mrs. Lerch moved to Jackson County with her late husband in 1984 from Flagler Beach, FL. She was of the Methodist faith, a member of the Joy Club and Lady Elks Club. Mrs. Lerch is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Mr. Howard Lerch and a brother, Howard Hollenbach. She is survived by a son, Richard and wife Jennie of Bascom, FL, two sisters; Mae Rahn and Myrtle Darkes both of Lebanon, PA; two grandchildren; Deena Howell and husband Eric of Sneads, Rick Lerch and wife Nancy of Tracey, CA, 2 great grandchildren; Trevor Howell and Christen Howell both of Sneads, FL, One great-great grandchild; Charles Howell of Sneads; Special friends; Bobby Kent of Marianna, Jolene Evins of Lovedale, and Stephanie Heward and husband David of North Carolina.
