Born in New York City, Tom grew up in Astoria, Queens, and later lived in Levittown, Long Island. Performing in the boys‘ choir of St.

Tom is an alumnus of Hofstra University, Columbia University, and the University of Connecticut (MBA). A chemist by training, he went on corporate research and development positions and held executive roles at American Machine and Foundry and UST, Inc. In semi-retirement, he enjoyed working as a realtor in Wilton with William Pitt Sotheby’s and serving as a member and Secretary of the Wilton Rotary Club. A 35-year member of Norwalk’s Shore & Country Club, Tom was an avid tennis player, skier, artist, and traveler. When not cruising around town in his convertible or at work, Tom could most often be found at one of his favorite beaches in Norwalk, Westport, Florida, or Block Island.

Tom is survived by his wife of 53 years Betty, his sister Carol Ann, his children Kristin and Tom, and four grandchildren.
