Howard W. Wright, 90, formerly of Andrews, Indiana, died at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana, Ft. Wayne, IN. (3:22 P.M.) on Saturday June 21, 2008. Mr. Wright was born December 30, 1917 in Howard County to Orville and Blanche Allen Wright. His parents preceded him in death. Mr. Wright married Vonda Louise Misner on June 4, 1938. She preceded him in death on July 20, 1993.
Mr. Wright was a farmer in Huntington County where he also drove a milk route for many years. He later retired from M & S Sheet Metal. Mr. Wright was a member of First Christian Church, Andrews, Indiana and attended Andrews Church of the Brethren.
He was a former member of the Andrews Lions Club and the Andrews Volunteer Fire Department.Survivors include: 1 Son Kenneth Wright (Connie), Huntington, Indiana. 2 daughters: Joyce Week (Dale) Michigan City, Indiana and Helen Dillon (James) Chatsworth, CA. 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren and 4 Great-great grandchildren. 2 Brothers: Gene Wright and Dean Wright both of Huntington, Indiana.
Preceded in death by 1 Son: Ronald Wright (December, 1960). 4 Brothers: Paul Wright, Lloyd Wright, Harold Wright and Doyle Wright.
