Howard John Jack, age 85, of New Smyrna Beach, died Monday, August 2, 2021 at his residence. Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut; Howard came to the area in 1972 from Maine.
A United States Navy veteran, he served during the Korean War on the USS Boston First Guided Missile Cruiser. Howard was a lifelong welder and maintenance supervisor at Coronado Paint for 20 years. He was a member of the Elks, enjoyed camping, doing yard work, a dog lover and loved to tinker.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Carol Jack.
