Howard F. Creyer, Jr., 82, of Bethlehem, died Monday, November 22, 2010, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was the loving husband of Rose J. (Zardanhasy) Creyer. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Howard and Helen (Smith) Creyer, Sr. He worked as a cement worker for the Keystone Portland Cement Co. for 42 years. Howard’s life was defined by his deep love for Rose, his wife of 60 years, family, and many friends. Neighbors and friends warmed his heart by referring to him with the endearing title of “neighbor”. He shared his love of fishing, gardening, and woodworking with many. Howard was a long time dedicated member of the former First U.C.C., Bethlehem and recent member of Trinity U.C.C., Bethlehem. Survivors: wife Rose at home; son Samuel H. Creyer and his wife Susan of Bethlehem; sisters Esther Kunsman and her husband James of Bethlehem and Elva Stahley and her husband Paul of Bath; brother Richard Creyer and his companion Shirley of Kreidersville; grandchildren Emily Mentesana and her husband JT, Amanda Woodruff and her husband Matthew and their two children Nathaniel and Darren. He was predeceased by his siblings Wilbert, Kenneth, Warren, Ernest, Claire and Bertha.
