Howard E. McCoy, 63, Pendleton, died July 3, 2005 at Kosciusko County Hospital-Warsaw, Indiana after a sudden illness.
He was born March 13, 1942 in Richland, Indiana, and resided in Pendleton, Indiana. He has been a Madison County resident most of his life.
He retired from General Motors after 36 years of service working for both Delco Remy and Magnequench.
He was a member of the Anderson First Friends Church of Anderson,where he was actively involved. He was an avid fisherman & golfer. He loved being a grandpa to his grand kids.
He is survived by his wife whom he married June 13, 1964: Beatrice Thornburgh McCoy. Daughter: Jill & husband Gary Amrine of Pendleton. Son: Greg & wife Jennifer McCoy of Pendleton. Sister: Martha & husband John Myers of Anderson. Brother: Don McCoy of New Palistine. Four Grandchildren: Daniel Amrine, Kristen Amrine, Molly McCoy and Connor McCoy and several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Carroll McCoy & Margaret Duvall Collins. Sister: Wanda Janes.
