Howard Dale Dohrmann, 72, passed away July 4, 2013 in Canon City, CO. He was the son of Fredrick and Genevieve (Hedens) Dohrmann, and was born November 14, 1940 in Clearwater, Minnesota. Howard was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Vietnam War era. Howard was united in marriage to Verna Alires in September 1965. A carpenter all his life, Howard worked in the woodshop with the Department of Corrections. He was an avid fisherman, and loved being in the outdoors. Howard had several hobbies that he did with his wife. He was a good father, grandfather, and friend. Mr. Dohrmann is survived by his children, Meryl (Cynthia) Dohrmann, Paul (Jeanne) Dohrmann, Sherrie (Matt) Nostrant, and Lisa Dohrmann; his mother, Genevieve; twelve grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and brother, Kenneth Dohrmann. He was preceded in death by his wife, Verna in May 2010; and his father.
