The family of Howard Conrad Olson is sad to announce his passing on April 16, 2021 at the age of 88.  Family and friends are at peace he has rejoined his wife and Heavenly Father.

Born December 9, 1932 in Omaha Nebraska to parents Conrad and Hartha Olson, Howard was an only child and graduated from Central High School and the University of Nebraska in Omaha. The Marketing major began graduate courses in Lincoln, but elected to join the Army and serve his Country during the Korean conflict. Howard returned to Omaha after being honorably discharged to begin his business career at Mutual of Omaha.

Howard met his wife Mary Woolley in 1955 and were married in 1957. They had their first child David in 1961 and then son Chris in 1964. Howard moved the family to Littleton Colorado in 1970 after taking a position with Fairmont foods and their Utotem convenience stores in Englewood. He left the store chain to become Director at the Englewood Chamber of Commerce and finished his career at Jones Intercable in 1992.

Mary Olson passed away in 2012 and Howard sold the house on Canyon Avenue in Columbine to move into senior living at Concordia on the Lakes in 2015.

Howard was a loving husband, father and Grandparent. He loved life and loved making friends through all phases of his life in Nebraska and Colorado.

He is preceded in death by his parents Conrad and Hartha, wife Mary and daughter-in-law Peggy Olson. He is survived by sons Dave and Chris and grandchildren Matthew, Jeffrey, Calvin and Cassidy.
