Howard Clayton Williamson, 76, of 1456 Lawless Creek Rd, Blairs, died Thursday, May 20, 2010 in Danville Regional Medical Center. Born July 20, 1933 in Goldston, NC, he was the son of the late Herbert Baxter Williamson and the late Clora Manis Williamson. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marion Lee Jones Williamson. He was a member of the Central Blvd. Church of God where he formerly served on the Pastor’s Council, C. E. Board, was a member the Woodmen of the World and was an honorary member of the Blairs Fire Rescue. He was formerly employed at Dan River, Inc. as a loom fixer for over 40 years. In addition to his wife of the residence, he is survived by a daughter, Kathy Myers Guill and husband, Larry of Blairs; two sons, Howard Charles “Chuck†Williamson and wife, Nesha and Joseph Clayton Williamson all of Danville; two sisters, Mildred Wilson and husband, Douglas and Effie Jean Oskey all of Danville. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Joshua Williamson, Jason Williamson, Christopner Myers, and Clayton Myers and wife, Ashley and his great-grandchildren, Chloe , Makenize and Nathan. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, Clinton Williamson, Eli Williamson and Johnny Williamson.
